I am disappointed with our financial systems. Honesty and ethics do not prevail. Only greed gets to live on as the wealthy "pull the wool over the poor or average Joe's eyes". What I mean is that the high public corporate managers get to pay themselves while providing poor quality products and poor quality service while outsourcing to third world countries so the shareholders and the CEO's can pay themselves not only dividends but options, compensations, benefits, warrants. Why not just pay them a wage of say $300.00 per hour instead. Take a simple 40 hour week - they (CEO"s will cry we work more hours then that) well ok let's take a 70 hour week (I am quite sure those cocktail parties and golf games will somehow fit in the category or time frame of the 70 hour week) ... Again let's get back on track here. Mulitply $300 x 70 hours per week = $21,000.00 per week then mulitply that times 52 weeks - $21k x 52 weeks = $1,920,000.00. That's about 2 million dollars - that would still cost less then paying them all of that compensation, jets, limo services. Let them pay for those jets, etc out of their pay, then let them use the jets, limo's, etc as a tax expense to write off. Also, could never figure out if I did a crappy job at running a corporation; still paying the "idiot" who ran the corporation into the ground anything let alone $14 million dollars. No disgrace on my nose for toileting huge corporations. It was your fault, you the consumer, you the employee, you the vendor for letting me scam you and cutting that botton dollar so low, no one can get paid here in the usa. Oh by the way, all of those bank managers that nicely took a piece of all that action while it was good and are crying well, we should still get to keep our jobs and also, still decide who and how we give out credit. We also, want to make sure that our pockets stay lined, so we are not going to give credit to anyone else, even though we decided to give it to those individuals we knew wouldn't be able to cover those mortgage payments (hey they asked us and we of course didn't lie. - you know the old saying caveat emptor - BUYER BEWARE - your bank manager was just not telling you the whole truth.) and ha ha! the only we will say we lose is if we get the house that those families put their hopes and dreams on. Those homes that we are parceled out like we are now doing with oil & gas by making them futures and not just supply & demand economics. We made them into mutual funds, play the stock game and don't let those average poor individuals read nor understand the fine print. Guess what we don't lose - we got our money at the beginning and while those people paid us (silly home buyers) even when they couldn't make the full payment, and when we foreclose - because we can rent the house, resell - we can still make money anyway you slice it. Also, while the stimulus cash is being handed out - pass some my way as I am the Poor CEO who cashed in on this game. Slam dunk!!! I win... the rest of the country can starve as long as my bowl is kept full and I am not penalized for committing... oops!! shouldn't say those words.
